Discussing the future of solid fuel combustion

Successful international workshop on Oxy-Fuel Combustion in Montabaur


The 3rd International Workshop on Oxy-Fuel Combustion organized by the CRC 129 Oxyflame was successfully completed on March 4th-5th 2020 in Montabaur, Germany. Many important contributions to the field of sustainable solid fuel combustion research were presented in six sessions over two days. Distinguished experts in the field like Mikko Hupa of Abo Akademi and Peter Glarborg of the Technical University of Denmark gave excellent talks about the current state of research and offered important perspectives. Despite of cancellations due to the outbreak of Covid-19, the workshop was conducted with special precautions and gave upcoming and senior researchers the opportunity to interact and connect with each other.
