Hiwi-Stelle
The ‘Reaktive Strömungen und Messtechnik’ group focuses its experimental research on flow, combustion, and sustainable energy solutions, using a variety of setups. Throughout the years the main focus has shifted from hydrocarbon fuels, to more sustainable options, such as ammonia, hydrogen, and methanol. Due to this, already existing setups have evolved through various modifications.
The group is searching for a lab-assistant to help streamline research on both the optically-accessible combustion engine and flow bench setups. Tasks include managing and enhancing the setups including cables and gas lines, as well as designing new parts to make setting up new optical diagnostics easier. Additionally, further supporting roles to the PhD’s and Postdoc on general maintenance and ongoing measurement campaigns is expected from the HiWi.
Initially, 8 hours per week are reserved for the HiWi for a period of 3 months, but this can be extended if necessary. Accordingly, bachelor's and master's thesis subjects are available within the group.
